This is also why these are so popular the world over. There is obviously the chance of some confusions and middle class nightmares due to absence of seat reservations. But it also gives the scope to interact with a motley crew of travelers (not to mention having to take along travel accessories). These are some of the reasons why flying is so popular in a country of huge distances like the US, where saving time is an essential ingredient when saving money.
